Switzerland/Germany — October 2025. Singularity Academy has launched its Psychology Talent Development Program, a tailor-made initiative designed to foster the next generation of clinical psychology professionals through advanced studies, clinical engagement, and applied projects.
The program has already welcomed its first three participants:
Carolina Bosco from Italy and Christabell Madondo from South Africa/Zimbabwe, who both began their studies on September 1, 2025,
followed by Siyi Lu from China, who joined the program in October 2025.
These three outstanding candidates are all master’s graduates in clinical psychology from leading global institutions, including the University of Groningen, the University of Amsterdam, the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, and the University of Toronto. They bring strong academic and professional foundations to the program. As part of their scholarly journey, they are also required to master the German language within a short timeframe, a crucial competence for their clinical engagement and future integration in Germany.
The Psychology Talent Development Program is a tailor-made initiative that combines three core dimensions:
Academic Intensive Studies – Advanced courses in psychology and psychiatry, guided by international faculty and supervisors.
On-Site Clinical Engagement – A scholarly and practical projects placement at Verus Bonifatius Clinic in Germany, one of Europe’s leading hospitals for psychiatry and psychotherapy, for mothers, fathers, and children — the only family-based psychotherapeutical clinic in Germany that combines adult psychiatry with child and youth psychiatry.
Project Application Work – Research and applied projects that help candidates translate academic knowledge into innovative solutions for healthcare and mental wellbeing.
In addition, participants receive on-site accommodation, daily meals, and a monthly stipend, ensuring a supportive environment for their academic and professional advancement. Specialized modules focus not only on child, youth, and adult psychotherapy, but also on hospital management, machine learning, AI in the healthcare sector, digital clinical progress, and project management, allowing participants to develop broad expertise at the intersection of psychology, healthcare, and technology.
The initiative not only strengthens scholarly and clinical competencies but also opens pathways to extended engagements and potential employment opportunities within Singularity Academy’s institutional network.
Ultimately, the purpose of this program is to promote psychological talents and transform the standards of the psychological profession worldwide. By bringing together wisdom from different continents and by partnering with Germany’s only family-based psychotherapeutic clinic integrating adult, child, and youth psychiatry, Singularity Academy aims to equip future leaders in psychology with the knowledge and compassion needed to help humanity face the growing challenges of mental health and mental disorders.
“This program represents more than education — it is a mission to cultivate future leaders in psychology who can think globally, act locally, and innovate across disciplines,” said Prof. Dr. Ying Zhang, President of Singularity Academy. “By combining the wisdom of different continents with cutting-edge science and clinical practice, we aim to raise the standards of the psychological profession and contribute to humanity’s fight against mental disorders.”
